Patricia Ferrante

Patricia Ferrante holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from FLACSO Argentina, a Master’s in International Relations and Negotiations from a joint program involving FLACSO/Argentina, the University of San Andrés in cooperation with the University of Barcelona, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires. She is a researcher in the area of communication and culture at FLACSO and serves as the coordinator of the digital education unit at the National Pedagogical University. She is the principal researcher for the RED project – ‘Reconfigurations of Educational Inequality in a Connected World,’ which includes FLACSO Argentina, the DIE in Mexico, the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, the University of Oldenburg in Germany, and the University of South Africa.

Her primary research interests revolve around the digitization of education and culture, as well as the practices and experiences of children and youth with digital media. She teaches in the Master’s program in Intellectual Property at FLACSO Argentina, the Global Studies Programme, and the Master’s program in Education, Image, and Contemporary Languages at UNR.
